There is no fixed rule; however, Pagani provides its customers with a guideline based on operational practice. The cable length should always exceed the test depth to allow easy handling of the rods during insertion and extraction operations.
The recommended correspondences are as follows:
For tests up to 25 meters deep: 35-meter cable.
For tests up to 35 meters deep: 50-meter cable.
For tests up to 60 meters deep: 75-meter cable.
For tests up to 80 meters deep: 100-meter cable.
For tests beyond 80 meters: special cable upon request.
Example: if the test depth falls between two values in the table, it is recommended to always choose the longer cable length. For example, for a 40-meter test, the recommended cable is the 75-meter one, not the 50-meter.
WARNING: special cables longer than 100 meters carry a high risk of reduced data transmission quality. For such requirements, consultation with our technical team is necessary. Their use is discouraged unless strictly necessary.
