Replacing the microswitch or proximity sensor in the hammer lifting head does not guarantee that all malfunctions of the lifting head will be resolved.
In fact, the sensor in question is used to detect the position of the wheel that lifts the hammer; however, to ensure correct operation, the springs contained in the head must also be adjusted so that they exert the correct force on the hammer lifting rod.
Another possible cause could be a fault in the proximity sensor connection cable. It is therefore recommended to check that the connectors are clean and properly reconnected, and to make sure that the cable does not show signs of wear or surface damage.
If any of these conditions are present, they could be the cause of the hammer malfunction, even if the sensor or microswitch has been replaced.
